There’s a new tea shop in town and so I took the time to visit a branch near me to try what they offer. Chagee is relatively new in the country as the first few branches only started to sprout last August 2025. And as of writing, it has expanded to a lot of locations already. This is not your usual milk tea shop since they do not have sinkers in their drinks.
But what they do not offer, they make up for the quality of their taste. They also provide a flat, triple-channel straw (as they would put it) to slow down sipping the content, to enhance the texture, flavor and aroma to create a one-of-a-kind experience. I have tried 3 off their menu: Bo Ya Jasmine Green Milk Tea, Da Hong Pao Milk Tea, and Hojicha Genmai Milk Tea (their newest addition).
Bo Ya Jasmine Green Milk Tea = This one has a strong floral taste
but still comforting for me
Da Hong Pao Milk Tea = a good combination of tea and milk
Hojicha Genmai Milk Tea = creamy and nutty
When it comes to the store’s interior design, it boasts of a
clean, fresh and elegant aesthetic. In addition, as far as I know, there is a
branch that is pet-friendly with exclusive pet-related merch in Eastwood Mall –
the first and only in Southeast Asia.
I have been a fan, three cups and tote design updates later (the cream and blue, the blue and silver and the Hojicha edition).
The red one is for the first day opening (my guess is as good as yours).
Have you tried their drinks? Let me know your thoughts.
