I have enrolled in a workshop on a Saturday afternoon and I tagged
my mom and brother along to find the venue as it was uncharted territory for
me. We were at the area hours earlier and grabbing a bite was the most logical
thing to do and it was a new restaurant for us to try out.
Tamarind Chicken Wings
Juicy and crispy wings served with Nuoc Cham Vietnamese sauce. The
sauce complemented the chicken.
Crispy Adobo Flakes
It’s your typical rice in a bowl fare but it comes with flavorful
chicken and pork belly adobo with extraordinary components of healthy brown
rice, salted egg salsa, fried egg and pickled vegetables.
Kansi Nasal
Tender slices of ginger tamarind beef brisket with langka relish
make Kansi Nasal an ideal companion to warm us up as the spicy-sour broth is
really a good choice for the rainy weather.
Mangga and Bagoong
And yes we ordered additional garlic brown rice and ripe mango
shake. The ambience and cozy aesthetics made it a pleasurable encounter.
While the food tastes
great, it is too pricey for a casual dining experience. But then again, it’s
okay to indulge once in a while.
